MUNITECH was founded in 1991 by Trevor and Beverley Timson ostensibly to supply road sweeper brushes and wear parts to the municipal industry.

Having seen the lack of 'quality' products being supplied generally, Trevor decided to move into the manufacturing of his own range of products as a top priority.

MUNITECH now has full manufacturing facilities in house, including turning, milling and fabrication machines, and are currently supplying one of the main sweeper manufacturers with original equipment and have been since 1995. Also in house, we have full brush manufacturing facilities which enables us to be as competitive as many larger companies. We feel that this illustrates the standards of excellence supplied by MUNITECH.

Business growth has been such that within our product range we now offer includes brooms, gloves, litter pickers, shovels and just about everything that the person cleaning the streets requires. Coupled to this is also a large range of refuse vehicle wear parts and switchgear.

Situated on the Hoo Marina Industrial Estate in Kent, MUNITECH operates from a purpose built factory and office unit, employing a staff of 12 which includes 3 representatives who each cover a specific area.

Our most recent cause for celebration was winning a small business of the year award for which we are obviously very proud.

In summary, with daily deliveries to London the South East and South Central together with competitive overnight and 3 day carrier rates to all other areas, we feel we are in an excellent position to offer quality items whenever and wherever needed.
